Tuesday 16 April 2002

After a breakfast of my trusty bowl of Crunchy Bran (highest fibre content on the supermarket shelf) I popped in the 'Pilate's System 21' tape.  At the beginning I thought it was a spoof.  Firstly the unashamedly pushing of Volic water didn't help nor the over the top acting.  Sorry but I have already gone off this tape before I have even started the exercises.

One of the problems I seem to be having since starting this new eating plan is dry facial skin, the rest of body is dry too but not as bad or as worrying.  Have been slapping M & S's Formula 16 hour Hydrating Moisture Cream on which I think is a little light weight for what is becoming a serious problem.  After a bath when my face gets very tight I slap on some Creme de la Mer but as it is so expensive I am being economically with it.  Need to search for a better moisturiser might have another look at the Elizabeth Arden's 8 hour cream, I had a quick look but it felt very greasy and smelt horrible.

I am slowly upping my consumption of water my goal is 8 pints a day.  So far I am managing 6.
