Miles walked today: 1.1miles 1680 steps 101 speed

Wednesday 17 April 2002

Not really exercise but I put the pedometer on to walk around the shops this evening and a couple of hours of window shopping clocks up as 3.22 miles 4875 steps with a speed of 107!  So conclusive evidence that shopping is good for you.

Nothing much to report today except that I have spent most of it playing around with this website trying to get things to work.  Haven't even had time to surf the net as I usually do.  Except for the revelation in the bedroom this morning.  I have this blue trouser suit which I use to wear to work and which up until a couple of days ago did not fit, the button on the trousers would not even meet.  This morning I managed to not only get the button into the button hole but also managed to get the zip done up, I did feel a little nervous because the material is not that strong and any sudden movement and I think the material would have split.  Still a result will be trying them on again at the end of the week to see if there is any progress.

Today's walk was cut short due to car crime.  Two cars were broken into as we walked the dogs even though we were yards away we didn't hear anything so decided to cut the walk short before we were paying for a new window ourselves.  So, what is our glorious council doing about this? - absolutely nothing, what a waste of space they are.  Too busy claiming their expenses no doubt.
